Join My ARC, Street, and Content Warning Team!
I've decided to combine my ARC, Street, and Content teams into one email so that it's easier for me to manage.
So what does this mean? It means you get early access to my stories when I can send them. Sometimes, due to publishing contracts, I'm limited on if and how many advanced copies I can send.
So what does each part of the team do?
ARC stands for Advance Reader Copy, which means that I will send you a free ebook version of my new releases before they come out. In return, I ask that you leave an honest review on Bookbub, GoodReads, and/or any book retailers.
Street Team is a team of readers who help me share my books. I'll include book release graphics and links so you can share them on social media and friends.
Content Team is a team of readers who will send me a list of trigger/content warnings plus any typos you notice. I can become blind to some of the things that happen in my stories after I've read through them too many times, so this is a big help.
Just to give you an idea of how this works, I will occasionally send you an email with a request to review a book with download links. A week or two later, I will send a follow up email reminding you to review.
Between new releases, I send out backlist titles for reviews too, so you might get a request to read a book you've already reviewed.
That means ARC emails are sporadic, and you might not get one for quite a while.
Best part, you can choose which books you want to do. If I send you an ARC of a book you're not interested in, just reply back to me that you're not interested and I'll *try* to make sure you don't get the follow up email.
You can leave reviews on one or all:
- Anywhere books are sold
- Goodreads (Follow and/or send me a friend request!)
- Bookbub (Follow me here!)
By leaving a review, you are helping prospective readers decide on which books they would love. Whether you like to leave short or long reviews, they all help.
Don't know what to talk about in the review? Here are a few ideas:
- Who your favorite character was and why...
- What was your favorite scene and why...
- If you would recommend this book...
- If you liked this book...
- Does the book remind you of any other books?
- What type of reader you think would enjoy this book?
Extra Benefits
Sometimes I will ask you to do something extra, like your opinion on a book idea in a kind of beta/alpha reader capacity.
Those are always voluntary, but I usually offer something fun or a mention in my book for. So keep an eye out for those bonuses!
Don't forget to check your Promotions Tab or Spam/Junk folder for the confirmation email.
